Joe began his professional career in the United States Army. After graduating from the University of Illinois and being promoted to sergeant, he attended Officer Candidate School and was promoted to lieutenant. He left active duty as a captain after serving in the 5th Infantry and 2nd Armored Divisions, following the birth of his first child.
After his military career, Joe worked for both the world’s largest dental manufacturer and largest distribution company, in several sales, management and leadership roles. Culminating in the responsibility for multi-million-dollar business units with large and diverse customer and employee needs. These experiences led Joe to the realization that most dentists have two difficult and complicated full-time jobs; clinical care of patients and running a small business! Joe’s focus since then has been to help dentists run more profitable and efficient businesses, so they can focus on patient care.
Joe began working with dentists on practice transitions in 2007 and has helped hundreds of dentists successfully sell, merge, or acquire practices. He actively consults on marketing, sales, associate doctor placement, employee training, business systems, insurance management and all other aspects of running a successful practice. He uses his business experience and network of professional relationships to achieve the very best outcomes for his clients.
